Hot Tub Fun

Happy 4th of July

As a proud American I have always loved the 4th of July and the Big Bang Contest makes it that much more fun! Fireworks have officially begun and I am so excited to show all of you my patriotic outfits, decorations and most importantly...pride! Chocolate Chip Cookies

After making so many adjustments I have finally perfected my chocolate chip cookie recipe and wanted to share it with all of you 4 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt1 1/2 cups melted butter 2 cup packed brown sugar 1 cups sugar 2 1/2 tbsps vanilla extract 2 eggs2 egg yolks3 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Preheat oven - 325 degrees for shiny cookie sheets, 300 degrees for nonstick. Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper. In a medium sized bowl soft together the flour, baking soda and salt - Set aside. In a large bowl cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and sugar until smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract, egg and egg yolk until light and creamy. Gradually add the dry ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed. Scoop out approximately 1/4 cup of dough and flatten slightly with palms. Cookies should be about an inch apart. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes, or until edges are lightly toasted. Cool on cookie sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Fiesta De Mayo

From May 1st to 5th I will be collecting pinatas for the Fiesta De Mayo contest and would love all your support. Dorito Taco Salad

One of my all time favorite recipes - So simple, delicious and always a crowd pleaser! 1 head of lettuce 1 tomato; diced 1 cup grated cheese1 onion; cut into rings Large bag of Doritos (I suggest Zesty flavour)1lb hamburger; cooked and drained Package taco seasoning 1 cup mayo1/4 cup sugar Set aside 1 tbsp of taco seasoning. Mix the text into crumbled hamburger while it's warm. Set aside and cool. Mix together mayonnaise, sugar and remaining taco seasoning. In a large bowl add lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cheese. Combine dressing into cooled hamburger and mix with salad mixture. Crumble Doritos on top just before you serve :)

Hoppy Easter

National Cocktail Day

Today is National Cocktail Day and I would like to share with you the recipe of my favorite cocktail: Chocolate Mudslide.5oz (each) Baileys Irish cream, Kahula & Vodka2 scoops vanilla ice cream1/2 cup milk1 cup iceChocolate syrup Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour chocolate syrup around the inside of a tall glass and pour slowly pour in mudslide. Drizzle with chocolate syrup!
